Conference theme?

Condemned by the Roman Inquisition to be burned at the stake in February 1600 for the heresy of his philosophical theses, Giordano Bruno is an author who has since continued to question the most diverse disciplines: science, the arts, literature, and poetry. In our presentation, we will attempt to highlight the most innovative and daring aspects of his theories: the conception of an infinite, material, and pluralistic universe; the construction of an art of memory based on the principles of productive imagination; and the definition of a practice of magical bonds capable of profoundly transforming human relationships. The aim will be to reveal the coherence and power of a way of thinking that is more capable than ever of guiding us through the challenges of our contemporary world.
