The impact of energy-efficient home renovation policies: what do the data tell us?
23 September 2025 @ 14 h 00 min - 17 h 30 min
Energy renovation policies are at the heart of the news: MaPrimeRénov’, passive heating, CEE, DPE… But are they really effective? Do they create jobs? Do they lower energy bills and CO₂ emissions?
The aim of this seminar, open to all, is to present the latest results of a research program conducted at École des Mines de Paris, dedicated to the economics of energy renovation. Using a data-driven approach and rigorous evaluation methods, we propose to shed light on the economic, social and environmental impacts of these policies, through presentations by the team’s researchers.
