For this second session entitled \u2018Maintaining in common: co-ownership beyond the infraordinary\u2019,<\/strong> we propose to investigate together the field of housing maintenance by focusing on co-ownership and its actors.<\/p>\n

As the PUCA (Plan Urbanisme Construction Architecture \/ Urbanism Construction Architecture Plan) research program<\/a> points out, condominiums remain little studied by the social sciences, even though they represent a third of French housing. Examining the notion of commons through the prism of wear and tear rather than use, this session explores, through stories and the figure of the condominium architect, the forms of diplomacy and resistance forged between a building, a community of actors, and a relationship to time defined primarily by legal continuity.<\/p>\n
