Ratier (Mines Paris &#8211; PSL).<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With the participation of :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Marko Erman, Scientific Director, Thal\u00e8s Group<\/li>\n<li>Clarisse Angelier, Managing Director, ANRT<\/li>\n<li>Jean-Luc Moullet, French Ministry of Higher Education and Research<\/li>\n<li>Pascal Breuilles, Deputy Scientific Director, CNRS Chemistry Institute<\/li>\n<li>Val\u00e9rie Archambault, Director of Innovation Partnership and Transfer, INRAE<\/li>\n<li>Pascal Metivier, former Scientific Director of Syensqo and founder of IRL E2P2L<\/li>\n<li>Marjorie Cavarroc-Weimer, SafranTech R&amp;T Engineer, Ir\u00e8ne Joliot-Curie 2023 Prize<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">On January 29, 2025, \u00c9cole des Mines Paris &#8211; PSL, as part of the Bauhaus Institute for Transitions, is organizing a conference and debate evening dedicated to managing relations between science and industry, around the concept of \u201cdouble impact\u201d: an approach in which scientific discoveries and disruptive innovations can mutually enrich each other.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The event coincides with the publication of the book Science et industrie \u00e0 l&#8217;aune du double impact (Presses des Mines), co-written by Q. Plantec, P. Le Masson and P. Leclerc. Plantec, P. Le Masson and B. Weil.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While history is full of emblematic examples of successful synergies between these two worlds &#8211; from Pasteur&#8217;s work to that of Bell Labs, or more recently from the discovery of giant magnetoresistance to CRISPR-Cas9 &#8211; current forms of science-industry collaboration are also often questioned.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">How can we reinvent these interactions to meet contemporary challenges?
