Une sociologie pragmatique du num\u00e9rique."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A book by <strong>Nicolas Auray<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Nicolas Auray, who died in September 2015, was one of the most brilliant and creative researchers of his generation. Through the broad question of the transformation of action resulting from the development of new technologies, he opened many research fields, ranging from hacker, to videogames, to epistemic communities. At the interface between pragmatic sociology and critical sociology, his work on the conditions of collective engagement in a digital regime led him to study the regime of \u201ccurious exploration\u201d, and to analyse hackers\u2019 world as an entity that effectively renewed the critique of institutions.<\/p>\n<p>This great researcher, known for his vast culture, was also a wonderful friend and colleague, of noteworthy modesty and humanity. For the members of the SES Department at Telecom ParisTech and all his colleagues at I3, this publication revives the emotion of his death. Internet incite \u00e0 se promener, \u00e0 visiter, \u00e0 se faire curieux, ce dont rend compte le terme de s\u00e9rendipit\u00e9. <\/p>\n<p>Avec le num\u00e9rique, les possibilit\u00e9s de consommation culturelle deviennent illimit\u00e9es. Cet ouvrage analyse les processus qui permettent \u00e0 l\u2019heureux hasard de se manifester mais aussi, au-del\u00e0, les fa\u00e7ons dont on butine sur Internet, dont on explore les contenus entre fl\u00e2nerie curieuse, attention flottante, multi-activit\u00e9s ou engagement soutenu. <\/p>\n<p>L\u2019auteur \u00e9tudie ce qu\u2019il appelle un r\u00e9gime exploratoire \u00e0 travers quatre comportements essentiels de la vie : apprendre, travailler, faire des rencontres et se d\u00e9tendre. Chaque \u00e9tude de cas rend compte d\u2019une forme de comp\u00e9tences sp\u00e9cifiques li\u00e9es aux usages d\u2019Internet et \u00e0 l\u2019exploration curieuse. Certaines de ces comp\u00e9tences sont acquises dans le domaine scolaire, d\u2019autres sont de nature extra-scolaire ou familiale.
