It will\u00a0contribute to analyse what leads\u00a0farmers and providers to take interest in a digital tool that offers increased access to agricultural\u00a0equipment. In particular, it will\u00a0provide a better understanding of how such a digital farm\u00a0equipment rental platform fits into conventional rural community systems. The lessons from\u00a0this\u00a0analysis will provide insights on how, and with what effects, a bundle of socio-technical\u00a0tools and knowlegde products are inserted within the daily life of\u00a0Mexican family farms.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Context<\/h2>\r\n<p>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This position is available within the research project entitled\u00a0Coevolution of Equipment, Digital\u00a0Technologies and Agroecological models (CoEditAg) which\u00a0aims to understand the co-evolution between the\u00a0trajectories of development of\u00a0equipment and digital technologies, and the transformations\u00a0of the structures, arrangements and organizations that frame agroecological transitions.<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The doctoral student will be hosted in France at the Centre de Sociologie de l\u2019innovation (CSI)\u00a0\u2013 Mines Paris, Universit\u00e9 PSL, in Paris, with administrative\u00a0affiliation at CIRAD-UMR\u00a0Innovation, Universit\u00e9 de Montpellier, France.
