DESCRIPTION:In 1999\, Sanofi sold its animal health and nutrition businesses\, and fourteen executives acquired a portion of them to create Ceva Santé Animale through a management buyout (MBO). Eight years later\, Ceva’s management and employees became majority shareholders\, enabling them to launch a long-term initiative: promoting animal health and beyond\, given that 70% of human infections originate from animals. Ceva has become the leading French animal health company and the fifth-largest globally\, with a presence in 47 countries\, 21 R&D centers\, and 32 production sites. It specializes in three key areas: biology (vaccines)\, pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals (medicines and therapeutic treatments)\, and equipment designed to ensure the quality of vaccination.
